Sharing with the dog

Carson ate for the first time today from his high chair, it did not take him long to learn to share with the dog. We weighed him yesterday and he is about 15.5 lbs. He is starting to get picky about some things, like cereal with his milk and people paying attention to him. He is also starting to get vocal about things, he makes noises the whole time you go over bumpy parts of the road (which is from our house until you get into town). He also rolls from his back to his stomach and his stomach to his back now.

Trip to California

These pictures are from California, it was nice there, the weather was warm and we got to see a lot of family. We can not wait until we are close to our family, not too much longer. The first picture is the first time Carson went swimming, the second picture is Carson with his Great Great Grandparents, and the last one is with his aunt, uncle and cousin.

Roll Over

Carson had a couple of big days, yesterday he went swimming for the first time, and then he slept through the whole night, and the he rolled over this morning. He almost made it over yesterday but could not quite make it all the way. We will be home tomorrow and add some pictures from our vacation in California.

Just wanted to put up some new pictures of Carson. We are going to California next Friday for our anniversary to see Kirsten's great grandparents (which Carson and I have not met yet) , her grandparents, and aunt and uncle.

Mr. Duckey

Hi everyone,

Carson is doing great! He is up to 14 pounds (look at that belly!) and 25 1/2 inches! He really is growing fast. He made a new friend today, his duckey rattle! He loves it. We were also doing some practice on funny faces, he is the champ! We are so amazed at how quickly he is changing. I started back to work on the 1st. It was very very hard, but knowing Carson was here with Chris and not someone we didn't know made it a lot easier. Everything else is going great. We hope everyone is well!

Almost forgot! We had some pictures taken while we were home. They turned out amazing! I can't believe how great they are! Carson looks (and is) perfect!!! This is just a couple, the prints are on the way!

Back in AK

Hi Everyone!

Well we are back in Alaska. We had a great trip home, and we already miss everyone so much. We didn't really realize how much of a difference 5 weeks makes with Carson. He has already changed so much. He gets so excited watching his mobile's, before he didn't even really notice them. He can stand up for a couple of seconds (with balance help from mom and dad of course), and it seems like he really wants to start to grab onto things in front of him. I know he can get a good handful of hair and hold onto that when he wants to! I can't wait to see all of his changes to come, but it really does seem like it is all happening to quickly! We are so excited to hear of more baby news! Congratulations to Matthew and Caren and Kristi and Jeremy! We are so excited for ya'll! More friends for Carson! We will post more pictures soon!
