The Many Faces of Carson

Wow! These are just a few of the many, many expressions we see from Carson! He is so entertaining! Everything is going so smooth right now, we are just starting to prepare for our trip home!!!!! We are so excited, first for Kary's wedding, and second for getting to spend some time with family! Carson is changing daily, he took his first solo steps last Saturday, but hasn't work up the nerve to try again yet. He took two steps first, then at separate times took another step, then two more. It has been so great, but I can't believe how fast it's going!! We hope everyone is doing well!!!

Carson likes to go into the dog cage and play. He is getting close to walking, I don't think it will be to long before he does. We will be in Texas in 21 days!!!!!

Carson has started to crawl in his own way, kind of a scoot. He also has got his first tooth, started to clap and says dadda and mamma. Its been a busy week.

A Few Pictures

The weather has been ok the last few weekends, so we have gone for a couple of hikes. Carson loves to be outside, he makes noise until he falls asleep in his carrier. We have brought our dogs and they get so tired that by the end you are having to push them to keep going, then they get home and sleep the rest of the day. Carson loves to stand in his crib, and he has started to let go of the side and stand for just a second and catch his self before he falls.

Pulling Up!

Wow, how time is flying! We cannot believe how fast Carson is reaching milestones! He is stuck on pulling up in his crib every time we put him in there now. I don't know if he will ever fall asleep again! He has started getting into position to crawl, but the rocking hasn't started yet. I think we have at least a little while before that starts! I am sure it will sneak up on us also. Chris has been ready for the crawling stage since I was about 3 months pregnant, so the cabinets are all locked up. I am sure there are going to be all sorts of fun things for him to get into though. Dog water, food bowls, stereo knobs! We are excited to see what is to come.

Carson has started to sit up for short periods of time by himself. We got him a new jumper set today and he jumped in it for about two hours straight and then passed out in it.

We have had nice weather here the last few weeks, giving us a chance to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine. Carson started daycare this week on Wednesdays and Thursdays, he will not pay attention to me when I go in and check on him during the day, he is interested in all the other kids and toys.

Man, I love this kid!

We have such an expressive little boy! He slept on his belly the first time the other day. Normally he will wake up and start to cry when he rolls over. Not that time, he was out! His clothes just keep getting more adorable. He wore his first real T-shirt on Saturday. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world! The weather has been a lot nicer the past couple of weeks, so we have had some time to get outside work done, and go for some walks. We actually got into the 80's at the house on Sunday, to bad I had duty! We still enjoyed it, Chris and Carson came to visit and we had a little picinic on the base. It still shocks me how much he is growing! He's getting close to 6 months now, so I know the milestones are going to be here before we know it!

The weather has been wonderful here. Carson has actually been able to enjoy being outside for a change! Everything else is going great, I just can't believe he is almost 5 months old! We will post more pics soon!

Carson has started doing fuzzy bubbles. He has his four month check up today and shots. He has also started sleeping in his own room now, he was moving around too much to stay in his bassinet.

Carson ate for the first time today from his high chair, it did not take him long to learn to share with the dog. We weighed him yesterday and he is about 15.5 lbs. He is starting to get picky about some things, like cereal with his milk and people paying attention to him. He is also starting to get vocal about things, he makes noises the whole time you go over bumpy parts of the road (which is from our house until you get into town). He also rolls from his back to his stomach and his stomach to his back now.

Trip to California

These pictures are from California, it was nice there, the weather was warm and we got to see a lot of family. We can not wait until we are close to our family, not too much longer. The first picture is the first time Carson went swimming, the second picture is Carson with his Great Great Grandparents, and the last one is with his aunt, uncle and cousin.

Roll Over

Carson had a couple of big days, yesterday he went swimming for the first time, and then he slept through the whole night, and the he rolled over this morning. He almost made it over yesterday but could not quite make it all the way. We will be home tomorrow and add some pictures from our vacation in California.

Just wanted to put up some new pictures of Carson. We are going to California next Friday for our anniversary to see Kirsten's great grandparents (which Carson and I have not met yet) , her grandparents, and aunt and uncle.

Mr. Duckey

Hi everyone,

Carson is doing great! He is up to 14 pounds (look at that belly!) and 25 1/2 inches! He really is growing fast. He made a new friend today, his duckey rattle! He loves it. We were also doing some practice on funny faces, he is the champ! We are so amazed at how quickly he is changing. I started back to work on the 1st. It was very very hard, but knowing Carson was here with Chris and not someone we didn't know made it a lot easier. Everything else is going great. We hope everyone is well!
